Say Goodbye to Stick Drift with the latest in Game controller analog stick Technology
Xbox / Xbox S / Xbox Series Controller Hall Effect Analog Stick ( Single Stick )
Hall Effect analog sticks are known for their durability and precision because they do not have physical contact points that can wear out over time, as opposed to traditional potentiometer-based analog sticks. This makes them particularly suitable for applications where fine control and long-lasting performance are essential, such as gaming controllers.
In the context of analog sticks, Hall Effect sensors are used to measure the position and movement of the stick. Inside the stick, there is a magnet, and around it is a Hall Effect sensor. When you move the stick, the magnet moves as well, and the change in magnetic field strength is detected by the Hall Effect sensor. This sensor then converts the magnetic field changes into an electrical signal that represents the position of the stick along both the X and Y axes.

* Note the Hall Effect Analog Sticks have to be carefully and gently calibrated after install - This is tricky and easy to damage if you have never installed them before . Do your research + watch a few tutorials . It would also help to remove the sensor and examine the mechanics of the sensor
* Important Disclaimer : These are non returnable once soldered in . If you heat them up too much , the insides distort and they will not work . If you don't heat them up enough , using Flux and correct temperatures , you will get a cold solder joint , and they will not work . Additionally the Hall effect analog stick needs to be carefully and gently calibrated after install . Calibration involves moving the sensor magnet slightly on each axis , until centered - Incorrect calibration can damage either the sensor or the magnet . Also note the jitter at center is normal for these analog sticks - the console will filter it out
If you do not agree with this disclaimer , do not purchase them for a self install - Rather get us to install them for you for R220 .
* Image is for illustrative purposes and shows a single stick at different angles - This listing is for a single stick
* Installation note : We found that when installing on the left stick , the trigger magnet can sometimes interfered slightly with the Hall Effect magnet , causing very slight drift when the left trigger is depressed . Recommended to use a standard stick on the left unless you purchase a Hall effect calibration board
